SMS Opt-In Proof
SMS Text Messaging — Opt-In & Consent
Open House Copilot · operated by Aleks Wojewoda, Realtor® at Compass · Greater Seattle, WA
This page documents the text-messaging program run by Aleks Wojewoda, a licensed real-estate agent with Compass in Greater Seattle, and the exact way a person consents to receive his texts. It exists so that mobile carriers and reviewers can verify the opt-in process. Aleks sends one-to-one follow-up texts to people who attended one of his own open houses and explicitly opted in there — these are his own messages, not third-party marketing. (Aleks uses software called Open House Copilot to manage his open-house sign-ins and follow-ups; Open House Copilot does not send marketing on its own behalf.)
▶ See the actual live sign-in page (the real opt-in process):
This is the real, publicly accessible page a visitor uses at the open house. On it they enter their first name, last name, and mobile phone number, and to receive texts they must actively check a separate marketing-consent box that is unchecked by default — the sign-in cannot be completed until that box is checked. No login is required to view it:
Who receives messages, and what they're about
- Recipients: adults who visit one of Aleks Wojewoda's open houses, enter their own mobile number on the sign-in kiosk, and check the SMS consent box. No number is ever added without that checked consent.
- Message content: a personalized follow-up after the open house — similar listings in their range, answers to questions they raised, and scheduling a showing — plus occasional related updates about their home search. Conversational and one-to-one; not bulk promotional blasts.
How a visitor opts in (the workflow)
- At the open house, the visitor signs in on an iPad kiosk (the Open House Copilot guest sign-in screen).
- They enter their first name, last name, and mobile phone number.
- To receive texts they must actively check a separate consent box. The box is unchecked by default, and the sign-in cannot be completed until it is checked — consent is never pre-selected or bundled.
- Their checked consent is recorded against their record with a timestamp.
The exact consent box shown on the kiosk
This is the verbatim consent language a visitor sees and must actively check on the sign-in screen (reproduced here exactly, unchecked, as it appears):
