Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Open House Copilot ("the App"), an iOS and web application for real-estate agents to run open-house sign-ins, capture visitors and send automated, consent-aware follow-ups by text and email. By signing in to the App you agree to these terms.

Who can use it

Open House Copilot is intended for licensed real-estate agents and the staff they supervise. You must be at least 18 and authorized to conduct open houses in the jurisdiction where you record. You're responsible for any tax, license or brokerage rules that apply to your business.

Your responsibilities

Visitor consent. The App does not record the open house, and captures no audio or video of your visitors. It collects only what a visitor enters on the kiosk sign-in screen, including a separate opt-in before any visitor is sent texts (see SMS / text messaging below). If you record your own voice notes, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by the laws of the state or country where you record.
Honest follow-ups. The follow-up emails the App drafts are suggestions you review and edit before sending. You're responsible for the accuracy and tone of every email sent from your account.
No misuse. Don't use the App to capture conversations you have no right to capture, to misrepresent yourself to visitors or to circumvent fair-housing laws.

SMS / text messaging

Program: open-house follow-up texts sent by Aleks Wojewoda, a licensed real-estate agent with Compass (Greater Seattle). These are Aleks's own follow-ups to people he personally met at his open houses, not third-party marketing. Aleks uses Open House Copilot only as software to manage his sign-ins and follow-ups.

A visitor is texted only after, on the in-person kiosk sign-in screen, they enter their own mobile number and actively check a separate, unchecked-by-default box that reads: "Text me about this and similar listings. By checking this box I agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Aleks Wojewoda (Compass) at the number I provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."

Account & sign-in

You sign in with Google. When you grant the Gmail send scope, the App can send follow-up emails from your address on your behalf, but only the emails you review and approve. You can revoke that grant at any time at Google account permissions.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you generate in the App: your voice notes and their transcripts, contact info, listings, follow-ups. We store that content on our backend so the App functions; see the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details.

You grant us a limited license to process your content (transcribe, analyze, draft) for the sole purpose of providing the App's features. We do not sell your content, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

Service availability & changes

The App is provided "as is." We don't guarantee 100% uptime; the backend depends on third-party services (Anthropic, AssemblyAI, Google, Twilio, Resend) that occasionally have outages. We may add, remove, or change features at any time.

Pricing

While Open House Copilot is in beta, use of the service is free. At launch, subscriptions are billed at the rates published at the time you subscribe, which are shown to you before you create a paid account. Agents who join during the beta lock a founding rate for a solo seat, held for the life of their subscription. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before any price change, and changes never apply retroactively to a locked rate.

Founding Closer bounty

The first five accounts to close a real-estate transaction with a lead captured by Open House Copilot are eligible for a refund of their first-year subscription payments, provided that (a) the lead appears in the account's lead list with a sign-in date earlier than the transaction's purchase-contract date, (b) the claim is verified by us against public sale records, and (c) the agent agrees to let us publish the story as a case study. Limited to five bounties total, one per account, while they remain unclaimed.

Termination

You can stop using the App at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@openhousecopilot.com from the address you signed in with; we process deletion within 7 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App's developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including lost business, lost contacts or mis-sent emails. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
